Dorian Murray’s mother, Melissa Doty Murray, just posted this information to Facebook about the formation of the Dorian J. Murray Foundation.
“Dorian and I are beyond proud to announce the birth of the Dorian J. Murray Foundation. This non-profit (status pending) foundation will be Dorian’s legacy, keeping his name and the #dstrong movement alive forever.
The Dorian J. Murray Foundation’s mission is to bring a level of awareness to pediatric cancer that is impossible to ignore. We will raise funds to support pediatric cancer research, donating to organizations such as St. Baldrick’s, CureSearch and Dr. Keller of CHOP. We will help support the families of diagnosed children by donating to The Tomorrow Fund, and by making direct contributions to families. Our website will offer a wide range of information for newly diagnosed families, including where they can find additional financial and emotional support.
The DJM Foundation has already started collaborating with local companies on some very exciting campaigns; more details on these, and how YOU can help, will be released shortly.
The Dorian J. Murray Foundation is still under construction, therefore, does not currently have a website up and running. As you can imagine, my focus is elsewhere……
