Richard Jean-Georges, an officer with the Bristol Police department, is missing after a reported “water accident” at Jacó Beach, on Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast.
According to the Red Cross, they received a call of “two people disappeared, possibly due to strong waves,” at 7:31pm on Saturday night. The National Air Vigilance Service, the Coast Guard and the Red Cross launched a rescue operation by air, sea and land to locate Jean-Georges but their attempts have been unsuccessful.
