A Middletown woman has been arrested for murder after a late night fight with another woman in the Oxbow Farms neighborhood..
Middletown police have arrested Melissa Sue Anne Castle, 33, after she reportedly told them she had been in an argument which led to a violent encounter.
Officers found Rachael Kilroy, 34, of 50 Jean Street, Middletown, on the 2nd floor of her apartment dead from an apparent strangulation at 7am Tuesday morning.
Police took Castle into custody and was arranged in Newport District Court on a charge of domestic murder. Castle was held without bail at the ACI in Cranston.
