More poisoned trees dying at King Park

Sadly after a number of trees were deliberately poisoned last year at King Park, many haven’t been able to be saved and must be replaced.

If you know anything about the incident, please feel free to contact Scott Wheeler, our Superintendent of Park, Grounds and Forestry at 845-5802 or swheeler@cityofnewport.com. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

If you’d like to donate funds to help plant replacement trees, please visit the Newport Tree Society website at www.newporttreeconservancy.org/king-park-trees/
