On Saturday, June 9th at 5pm, the prized Newport Cup will be at stake when rivaling teams go head to head at the polo grounds at Glen Farm.
The 6-chukker exhibition polo match will pit the Newport Hotshots against the Newport Masters, in the ultimate test of youth vs. experience. Tickets to the match ($15 for General Admission and $25 for Pavilion seating).
During the match, a weekly door prize drawing and the Stella Artois Best Tailgate will be awarded. After 6 periods, called chukkers, the match will conclude with the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Toast & Trophy Presentation, as well as an autograph signing and cocktail hour to meet the players. Specialty vendors and concessionaires will be present in the Hospitality village at the polo grounds, including the Twisted Pony Bar, Newport Polo Pro Shop, Horseshoe Wine Bar and other specialty vendors and gourmet food trucks.
