Newport International Boat Show Offers a Fun-Filled Destination for Visitors of All Ages
Beyond its beautiful coastline, Newport is a destination rich in history and culture. From majestic mansions along Bellevue Avenue to a thriving downtown waterfront with cobblestone streets, there is much to see and do – especially during the fall when the landscape turns to amber and the summer crowds have dispersed.
Set for September 17-20th, 2015 on Newport Harbor, the Newport International Boat Show (NIBS) flaunts its destination and sailing history to attendees making fall travel plans. NIBS is the kick-off to the boat show season and a prime time to experience fall in New England. It’s also one of the country’s largest in-water boat shows, NIBS hosts exhibitors from around the world with an exceptional assortment of sailboats, powerboats, marine equipment, services and accessories.
“In addition to attending NIBS, visitors should make plans to enjoy all that our seaside retreat has to offer,” said Nancy Piffard, show director of Newport Exhibition Group. “Our historic landmarks, amazing architecture, award winning restaurants, boutiques and museums should not be missed!”
