Newport Mansions Job Fair Set for March 19

NEWPORT, R.I. — Job seekers looking for part-time or seasonal work can explore a range of opportunities at The Preservation Society of Newport County’s Job Fair on Thursday, March 19.

The event will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Preservation Society’s headquarters, 424 Bellevue Ave., at the corner of Narragansett Avenue. Free parking will be available on site.

The nonprofit organization, which owns and operates 11 historic museum properties collectively known as the Newport Mansions, is hiring for a variety of seasonal roles ahead of the busy tourism season. Available positions include tour guides, museum custodians, security guards, retail associates, food service associates and special events attendants, among others.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and be prepared to apply and interview in person during the job fair.

The Preservation Society also hosts a wide range of public programs and special events throughout the year, creating additional seasonal employment opportunities across its properties.
