In the early morning hours of Monday 10/23, Newport Police were alerted to a dog left unattended and tied to a signpost in Braga Park near the Kay Street entrance.
This dog is presumed to have been abandoned and the Newport Police would be interested is speaking with the person responsible for leaving her there.
If anyone recognizes this animal and can assist in locating/speaking with her owner or person responsible for leaving her please contact the Animal Control Officer at 401- 847-1306 during normal business hours or on the TIPS line at 401-846-2606 24hrs.
