The Portsmouth Police Department identified Richard Camara, 65 of Portsmouth, as the man found dead outside his home Wednesday morning at 8:30am.
The Portsmouth Police are being assisted by the Rhode Island State Police with the investigation, but their preliminary investigation has led police to believe his death does not appear to be of a criminal nature.
The cause of the death is still under investigation.
