Providence to Newport Ferry to Stop in Bristol for July 4th

This year for the first time, Fourth of July enthusiasts will be able to avoid traffic and take the Providence to Newport ferry to Bristol for the parade. The ferry will offer three round trips on July 4th to the nation’s oldest Fourth of July parade.

The ferry will stop at the State Street Pier in Bristol on its route to Newport and will stop again in Bristol on return trips to Providence. The Bristol ferry stop is one block from the parade route on Hope Street. $10 for adults, $5 for children (3-12 years) and seniors (65+). Tickets are available at www.RidetheBayRI.com.
