Radical Face, the long-running indie pop project of Ben Cooper, has been added to the lineup of the 2016 Newport Folk Festival. Cooper, who is based in Jacksonville, FL, came up with the name Radical Face upon seeing it on a flyer. He later found out it was a plastic surgery flyer saying ‘Radical Face-Lift’ with the word ‘lift’ ripped off.
The single “Welcome Home” was played at the beginning of the first episode for the TV series “The Returned”
Radical Face will play the sold-out Newport Folk Festival on Friday, July 22nd.
