In a meeting with journalists on Wednesday, Rhode Island Commerce Secretary Stefan Prior announced that Rhode Island will not look for a new slogan to replace the much derided and now discarded slogan “Rhode Island: Cooler & Warmer.”
Secretary Prior said that the marketing campaign will keep the sail (shark fin?) logo designed by New York City designer Milton Glaser and that “the tag line is Rhode Island.”
Good thing we only blew a million bucks on that.

Secretary Prior testified before the House Finance Committee on Wednesday afternoon seeking another $4.5 million for the tourism campaign.
