The PowerShares Series is a competitive tennis circuit featuring tennis legends competing in two one-set semifinals and culminating with the winners meeting in a one-set championship match. This one-day event will get some of your favorite players back on the courts in Newport.
“PowerShares Legends Newport on Sunday of tournament week will be a terrific way to top off the tournament and the induction festivities. We’ll have two Hall of Famers in action with Andy Roddick on court the day after his induction and Jim Courier returning to Newport for the first time in many years. Also, James Blake and Mardy Fish have a lot of history with the Newport fans, and it will definitely be a special event to see them back out on court,” said Todd Martin, International Tennis Hall of Fame CEO. “We strive to expand on our tennis offerings for the fans each year, and we’re really excited to welcome back the PowerShares Series once again.”
