At least five Dallas police officers were killed Thursday after being targeted by two snipers in a downtown Dallas parking garage Thursday night during a protest over police shootings of African-Americans.
Dallas Police Chief David Brown said the snipers shot eleven officers during the protest and at least one civilian. Brown said that three injured officers were in critical condition and two others were in surgery. At least 30 rounds were fired and police believe there may be an explosive device on scene.
