A massive fire destroyed a vacant Fall River mill early Saturday morning. Authorities were alerted to the scene of the massive fire at Sagamore Mill near Weaver and West Streets after multiple 911 calls at around 3:30am.
The smoke from the fire was so thick that it was showing up on weather radar!

The fire was out by 9:30am but firefighters will remain on scene for days to monitor hot spots.
Fall River fire chief Robert Viveiros said that no one was injured in the fire and that the fire seemed suspicious.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
