The Volvo Ocean Race Boats Start Racing To Newport This Sunday

On Sunday, April 22, the community is invited to the Official Watch Party at The Deck on Waites Wharf starting at 12 Noon. Brad Read, Executive Director of Sail Newport, will narrate the action along with the live stream from the Volvo Ocean Race.
 
The Deck will have its full kitchen open at 11:00 a.m. with a menu by Chef Matthew Holmes and entertainment by “The Inn Keepers.” ~ get there early! The Watch Party starts at 12 Noon with no cover charge and, with free parking available. Race Start is a 1 p.m. from Itajai, Brazil.
