A tour bus carrying visitors to the Newport mansions caught on fire Thursday morning just after 10am.
A smoke alarm on the bus alerted the occupants who were all able to escape uninjured.
The Newport Fire Department responded in time to contain the fire and protect surrounding vehicles and properties.
