The Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton will begin a limited invitation-only reopening Monday, June 8, the Rhode Island Lottery announced today.
The reopening will be limited to select Twin River reward program members and will include VLT play only. Not all VLT machines will be turned on in order to allow for social distancing. Table games will not be operated until further notice. Hours of operation will be restricted from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily to allow for thorough cleaning overnight.
Customers and employees will have to adhere to strict public health guidelines, including verbal health screenings and temperature checks. Hand sanitizer stations will be added throughout the facilities. All customers and employees will be required to wear face coverings. Smoking will not be allowed during this limited reopening in accordance with public health recommendations.
Twin River’s reopening plan was developed in consultation with the Division of Lottery and the Rhode Island Department of Public Health. No date for a full public reopening has been decided at this time.
