Team Brunel currently holds the narrow lead of the In-Port Race Series with 15 points. Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing is currently in second place with 16 points and Team SCA rounds out the top 3 with 20 points. It’s important to note that In-Port Race results are used in the event of a tie in the overall race.
The Team Vestas Wind In-Port Race Newport wll bring racing close to land and is best viewed from the Volvo Ocean Race Stopover Race Village at Fort Adams State Park.
The Race Village at the Volvo Ocean Race Newport Stopover will be open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and admission into Fort Adams State Park is free.
