The Derek Chauvin trial in the death of George Floyd is underway in Minneapolis.
Chauvin faces charges of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter charges. The three other officers charged in the case — J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas K. Lane and Tou Thao — are set to be tried separately in August.
