After starting 0-2 and losing Drew Bledsoe to an injury, the Patriots went on to have an improbable season led by second year quarterback Tom Brady. The Patriots would meet the Raiders in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs on January 19, 2002. The New England victory was fueled by the controversial “Tuck Rule”, which consequently launched the Patriots into a dynasty.
