Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones was rushed to Norwood Hospital Sunday morning after he showed up at the Foxboro Police Department with a medical emergency, police dispatch records show.
Jones was treated and released from the hospital, after reportedly overdosing on pills, according to WEEI.

According to my source, Chandler walked into police station parking lot all jammed up shirtless and shoeless asking for help from police

Foxboro Police Chief Edward O’Leary initially told reporters there was no contact between Jones and his officers, but then after the recordings were released, said he didn’t want to share the information because of medical privacy.
Police dispatch recordings refer to Jones as a “confused party”.
In a statement the Patriots said “Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and released that day. He reported to work on time Monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then.”
Jones is in his fourth season with the Patriots, who are set to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday in Foxboro in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. Jones, a Pro Bowler this season, is fifth in the league with 12.5 sacks. He missed New England’s last game, on January 3, against Miami with a toe injury.
