A man was found dead at a Newport business today after the Newport Fire Department was alerted to a fire at 62 Halsey Street in Newport’s North End

The victims name has not been released and the Newport Fire Department, Newport Police, State Fire Marshall, Medical Examiner and State Police are investigating.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
