Alright folks we have a missing pup on the loose in Newport in the Malbone Road/Summer Street area.
DO NOT CHASE. His name is Benji. He has been missing since Thursday He”s two year-old Shih-Tzu wearing a dog tag with his name and phone number. He’ll answer when called, but runs off if chased.
So what I’m going to need from everyone in Newport is to drop everything you’re doing at this exact moment and hit the streets looking!
Our fugitive has been on the run for 24 hours. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of 96 miles (not good). What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse, boathouse, gatehouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up every 30 miles miles.
