RIP Andrew Paiva

Andrew Shane Paiva, 29 of Unity Drive, Middletown, RI died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.  Andrew was the son of Melissa Paiva of Middletown, RI and Ralph Paiva Jr. and Sharon Sheldon Paiva of Tiverton, RI.

Andrew was a funny, kind hearted person who loved animals (especially his sister’s dogs).  Andrew worked as a landscaper.  An avid Patriots fan, he had a love for fast cars and good music. 

Besides his parents, he leaves his sister Brittany Paiva of Middletown whom he adored, brother Jared Sheldon of Providence Brotherly Love.  Grandparents, Irene Helmers of Portsmouth, Ralph and Barbara Paiva of Middletown, many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the O’Neill-Hayes Funeral Home, 465 Spring Street, Newport. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at the Ocean Pointe Church, 866b W. Main Road, Middletown at 10:00 am.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew’s memory may be made to Hope Recovery Center (please make check payable to: PSNRI), 535 Centreville Road, Warwick, RI 02886 and The McKinney Shelter, 15 Meeting Street, Newport, RI 02840.
