Tom Brady was named MVP of the NFL for the third time Saturday night. The Associated Press chose the 40 year-old G.O.A.T as the 2017 Most Valuable Player, announcing the award during Saturday night’s NFL Honors ceremony.
The G.O.A.T received 40 (of 50) votes for MVP, easily winning over Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (8) and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (2).
Brady, who also was league MVP in 2007 and 2010, will try to win his sixth Super Bowl title Sunday.
