William Nimmo, 67, of Newport, Rhode Island, passed away on September 25, 2018. William was born on November 11th, 1950 to the late Capt. William Nimmo and Eileen Nimmo in Fryeburg, ME.
Billy was a Newport local, spending his life in and around The Point. He was an avid traveler, lover of nature and photography and always looked forward to witnessing any of Newport’s sailing events.
Come celebrate his life and friends, for he will be greatly missed.
William is survived by his son Jeffrey Brown of Tampa, FL.
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 28th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, September 29th, at 10:30AM at Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI.
Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Churchyard in Portsmouth, RI
